How small businesses are using technology
Retail Doctor Brian Walker says only half of all small businesses have a website, according to a new report by American Express.
The same report found:
46 per cent of small business owners are using social media as a way of marketing to customers, and a third plan to improve how they use social media in the next 12 months.
Small businesses are still slow to uptake technologies such as contactless payments (27 per cent), product review functionality (21 per cent) and the ability to sell through a third-party website (20 per cent).
Brian spoke with Trevor and Nick about ways SB’s can boost their reach through technology.
