Project provides HoPe for pets

No animals should suffer because of their owner’s financial situation, yet many people going through crisis or financial hardship simply have no means to pay for the care their pets need.

Now, one inner west vet clinic has become the first port of call for homeless people whose pets are sick or injured.

Dr Sam Kovac from Southern Cross Veterinary Clinic in St Peter’s is helping the pets of people struggling with difficult circumstances through the ProtectHope program. He joined Joanne and David on Talking Pets.
